Your world is moving fast. Just a short time ago you graduated from high school and in just a few years you will start a professional career. Let us help you navigate this challenging and wondrous journey.
By participating in the one-day Schneider Downs Explorers Program, you and other high-performing freshmen and sophomores will learn about the immense opportunities and rewards within a professional services firm, interact with our professionals, including current interns, and network with colleagues from other universities. In addition, our recruiting professionals will provide valuable insights and advice to assist in your preparation for future internship and full-time interviews and the overall recruiting/hiring process.
We are always looking for high-achieving students pursuing accounting and/or technology-related degrees with strong academic performance (3.0 GPA or higher) for our internships in the following areas:
We also have shared firm, office and departmental activities to keep you connected, make you feel a part of the team and encourage the development of lasting friendships. Some of our team’s favorite events include:
- Audit
- Tax
- Risk Advisory (IT Risk Advisory, Enterprise Risk Management, SOC Compliance and Third-Party Risk Management)
- Technology Advisory (Cybersecurity, Business Process Automation (BPA), Data Analytics and Software Solutions)
Who’s eligible to participate?
- Freshman and sophomore standing in a full-time academic program, pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or in technology-related fields.
- Strong academic performance; preferred overall GPA of 3.3 (3.0 minimum)
